Ars Canusina. Arte e artigianato dei bambini della Colonia-Scuola «A. Marro»

The exhibition Ars Canusina. Art and craftsmanship by the children of the ‘A. Marro’ Health Camp-School, inaugurates the thirteenth chapter of the ‘Dèibambini’ cycle, dedicated since 2006 to children’s creativity. Curated by Massimilano Vitali and Chiara Bombardieri, the project was conceived by MUSEC and shared from the outset by the Local Health Unit of Reggio Emilia, with the collaboration of the Diocese of Reggio Emilia and Guastalla (Diocesan Museum), and the ‘Ars Canusina’ Association of Bibbiano (Reggio Emilia). It investigates the interaction between art, craftsmanship and psycho-pedagogy through the textile and ceramic works created by the children of the ‘A. Marro’ Health Camp-School, under the guidance of the ‘A. Marro’ Haealth Camp-School’s children’s association. Marro’, under the guidance of psychiatrist Maria Bertolani Del Rio (1892-1978).
